Tom,
I checked my book (Great Armor Series No1 M48/M60 Patton) and you're right
the three photos showing this pattern, although labelled as M60A1s are
actually M60A3s.
I posted queries on the web on the same subject, and nobody could come up
with a photo of these M113s :-(
