Hi Guys-

Many years ago, I was watching a film called "Under Fire" starring:
Nick Nolte, Gene Hackman, Ed Harris and Joanna Cassidy (I could almost swear this movie was also called "Nicaragua"). There is a scene in this film that shows some very odd looking Stuart tanks. I found out later these odd Stuarts were Mexican made up-dated Stuarts that had a Panhard turret with a low velocity 105mm cannon! There are some other mods that make this Mexican Stuart a tank I have researched on and off over the years. Anyway, one item I noticed on these Mex. Stuarts is that the suspension appears to be different than that of the original Stuarts and, when looking at HobbyBoss' kit of the M4 high speed tractor I realized the Mexicans used the suspension fromt the M4 high speed tractor. So, if lack of proper suspension is what has been holding you back from building the Mexican Stuart, it is now available! At least I think it is, I admit I have not done a side by side comparison, in any event the M4 high speed tractor's suspension does appear to be a close match.

Or, have I skipped a groove again?

Cheers-
Geoff Steer
