Geoff,

I have this vehicle under construction. Its been dormant for some time. I had picked up a resin M4 HST on ebay and decided to give the kit bash a go.

A friend of mine did a walk-around of the X1A1 while he was in Brazil so I have plenty of reference material.

You're right about there being extensive hull modificatins. Only a few segments of the front and rear Stuart hull are useable.

I may dust it off and try to finish it. One problem is that the track pads appear to be unique (see photo). They are a "U/V" pattern that I've not seen on any other vehicle.

I'll post some construction photos later to give you an idea of the project scope.
