Geoff,
Unfortunately, I've researched the track pads extensively, including variations on the HST's and they appear to be an original Brazilian configuration. I'm looking into modifying the U.S. "V" pads. It will be tedious and probably not an exact match but perhaps close enough.
Regarding the Panhard turret, its close but really not the same. From what I can tell, the turret is an original French design manufactured under license for the X1A1 in Brazil.
Here's a shot of my initial efforts to reconcile the lower, front and rear hulls. I still have questions regarding the suspension mounting. I'm hoping to get additional close-ups of that and the hull bottom.
