| Subject: | Canadian Shermans in Korea | |
| Date: | May 1, 2008 | |

Wasn't sure whether to post this in 'Kits' or 'Research' so apologies if it's in the wrong place!
Having recently built a Firefly and Israeli M51 I seem to have caught the Sherman 'bug'. I've got the old Vanguard book, 'Armour of the Korean War' and in it is a picture of a convoy of Lord Strathcona's Horse Shermans. Am I right in thinking that these were M4A3E8(76mm) aquired from the Americans? Would the DML M4A3E8 'Thunderbolt' kit be suitable for building one of these Canadian tanks? Did the Canadians make any modifications? Am I also right in thinking Archer manufacture suitable decals?
Many thanks,
Ken |
