For 1973 a typical IDF Cent would have:
-British L7 105mm Gun & relocated loaders hatch
-Most would be up-engined with the US Diesel motor & American style rear
deck, similar to M60.
-no reactive armour in 73
-50 cal MG mounted on Comd's cupola
-some had turret baskets
-updated tool boxes
-driving & IR lights
-tons o' stowage
- I'm not sure if they would have the coax 7.62mm and the coax ranging
12.7mm mods?
If can get a hold of "Tanks of Tammuz" by Shabtai Teveth and "The Heights of
Courage: A Tank Leader's War on the Golan" by Avigdor Kahalani, they'll get
you in the mood to model some IDF S'hots. Mike Johnston's preference for IDF
colour for this time period is Testor's Model Master Israeli Sand Grey.
Cheers
