Hello all,
It was nice seeing many of you at AMPS. Just a note for those who,
like me, think the Swedish "S" tank is way cool! A week and a half ago I
got to help some of the staff from the VMMV unload three S-103 tanks
from a ship in the Baltimore Harbour. Last week these tanks were trucked
to the museum to join the collection. Then the vehicles were officially
shown off for the first time at the May 5th Open House. I got lots of
video. At some time in the future I will put all of this together for a
tape that will be advertised in the vendor sections. For now though...I
need the help of those who have built or wish to build kits like the AA
or SOL resin versions. How detailed are those kits? What details would
specifically help those of you who plan to model it? The museum examples
are really nice...and in cherry condition! Talk to me and let me know
what is needed. Frankly, there may be enough tape to eventually produce
a tape on just the "S" tank! I hope to hear from some of you before I
get back to the museum next week.
Happy modelling!
