Hello All
The 120mm has a higher muzzles, velocity therefore greater range and
penetration power. Rifling has nothing to do with it. The 105 MM could
only offer penetration to a point, to get beyond this you needed a bigger
gun. Some believe that we need something bigger than a 120mm if new
techonology is applied to current armor.

smoothbore so much better all of a sudden? Has the ammo changed so much
