Hi Pierre,

These are picture of a German MARS, but the principle is the same.

They can guide the crane in front with a remote control, which is located at
the back of the vehicle behind one one those doors in the rear (I think it's
the left side).
It has a long extension cord so the can walk around the vehicle.
