They did, indeed, capture some from Jordan, but they were never used. The
Israelis do/did offer some conversion/upgrade packs for export, including
the M60 engine and, if I recall, the M68 105mm gun. Several captured M47's
are on display in various locations in Israel, along with an upgraded
vehicle at Latrun. Not sure, but the upgraded one may actually be from
Spain.
