Howdy:
Just a note to let you know about my latest "debunking" project. I've used
original parts manuals to determine the interchangeability of the
wheels/sprockets/idlers and return rollers used on the M18 76mm GMC, the M24
Lt Tk, the M41 76mm Tk, and derivative vehicles. For those who don't care
about minutiae, the article will at least be able to tell you what parts to
use on your scratchbuilt M37 or T194 SP howitzer. I have the new AFV Club
M41 wheel set ready to review, and once I get my hands on some M24, M18, and
M41 kits I'll be able to fold that data in to the mix as well.
If I can get on base at APG and into the storage yard, I'll tackle the M10
turret shape next. . .
