I'm sure "Panzers in Normandy Then and Now", is worthwhile as well.
I've got the 21st Pz div book, 1/2 of it is about the division in N. Africa, the other 1/2 covers Normandy and after.
Typical 21 Pz div vehicles in Normandy were:
- Panzer IV Ausf H
- Panzer IV Ausf C
- Marder III M
- 39(H) 10.5cm leFH18(Sf) auf Geschutzwagen
- Panzerjäger 39(H) mit 7.5cm PaK40/1 Marder I
- Sdkfz 250 different versions
- different german made versions of the french Somua halftrack
guns:
- Nebelwerfer
- Pak 40
vehicles:
- Steyr 1500
