Dear Niels
According to the Normandy 1944 book by Niklas Zetterling (TOE of all german units in Normandy)
The PzGdr Regt 125 of 21st Pz Div (commanded by Von Luck)had seven Marder (probably IIIM going by the pictures in the Perigault book).
I reckon one of these was the first German AFV to open fire on 6th June against the Pegasus bridgehead.
