Subject:  Composite hull HVSS ShermansList thread.

Can anyone tell me how many M4's were equipped with the HVSS suspension during WWII in the Pacific theater? I was looking through the Kagero book on the M3 and M4 and saw at least two M4's on Okinawa with this layout and found the same picture in the Osprey campaign title.

Were these standard 75mm equipped M4s or were any of them 105mm?The angle of the picture leaves me in doubt.

Was Okinawa the only location given the date to see these units in action? Are there other titles with pictures of them in combat?

The help is appreciated!

David.
