As far as is known, no late M4 with composite hulls were ever fitted with HVSS suspensions. The tanks in the picture you refer to are late M4(105)H tanks built on the very late M4 hull with 47-degree glacis and large driver and co-driver hatches à la late M4A3. As a matter of fact, all late M4's with 47-degree glacis were built as 105mm howitzer tanks, initially with VVSS suspensions, and later with HVSS.
Although not apparent in the picture in question, these later tanks also had the reinforced lip on the outer side of the opening for the commander's copula.
