Hello Brian,
check "Armoured Photo Gallery (APG)10" - a nice book (Polish editor, English text), really worth looking at, with lots of pictures of the sole surviving(?) StuG III D in Axvall Museum, Sweden ( with tropical modifications, but air-filters different from the great model in the gallery), plus quite a few fotos of one of the 3 DAK ones in British hands - alas none with the air-filters fitted in place - and pictures plus history of the preserved one.
