Thanks for the insight guys,

I kind of thought myself that the Marder III on the Czech 38t chassis with the re-chambered Russian 76mm was the definitive Afrikan Marder.

I pondered that the earlier versions on the Panzer II chassis may have been used as well. As Roy pointed out, most seem to have been used on the Russian front. That can be said for any German AFV when you get right down to it. If I choose the do an Afrikan Marder it will be the early version of the III on the Czech 38t chassis.
