From your reply I gather that you know of this book. It is titled: "Paris Kanonen-the Paris Guns (Wilhelmgeschutze) and Project Harp", published in 1988 by Verlag E.S. Mittler & Sohn Gmbh, authored by G.V. Bull and C.H. Murphy, ISBN 3 8132 0304 2.
It contains quite a bit of info on projectile development with focus on the driving band and obturator development. There are a few photos of the guns and their emplacements. The last third of the book is on Project Harp with lots of color photos. I purchased this book back in about 1990 and do not remember what I paid for it, just remember that it was not cheep. When I was looking it over in the small book shop I was in, I realized that I had not seen any other reference materials on the Paris Guns so I decided to make the purchase.
