| Subject: | Camouflage on suspension - Doubtful | |
| Date: | May 9, 2006 |

Jim,
Personally, I wouldn't bother with extending the camo over the suspension, as I really doubt the troops who applied the scheme would have gone through the trouble. As David pointed out, the various shadows and highlights cast by the complex elements of the suspension would render that sort of camouflage pretty useless on those parts. The only exception to this I have seen was on tanks that had the lighter color applied on the entire lower hull sides, behind the suspension unit, to try to counter the shadow effect and make the actual suspension features less visible from a distance.
Hope this helps.
