Zaloga's plate in that book, Tank Battles in France, is quite accurate. I haven't seen the mask you are referring to, but the plate is accurate and is based on a photo that can be found in the Osprey book U.S. Army Tank Crewman and also in the biography on Abrams, "Thunderbolt", by Lewis Sorley.
