Panther Variants in Colour by Waldemar Trojca has a set of plans and a colour plate for a Stadgas Panther Ausf D. Apparently this was used by Panzer-Versuch und Ersatz-Abeiltung 300 in Eisenach during 1944 as a driver training vehicle.
The vehicle was a very early Ausf D converted to run on both petrol and Stadgas. When running on the gas a different type of carburetor had to be used.
