Terry mentions that the trackguards in the 'Big turret' kit are 1.5mm narrower than in the KV-2 kit. Some have claimed that the originals were reduced in width during production but I have yet to see a photo which shows that this was the case - all the ones I have seen show the trackguards to be 5cm narrower each side then the track (I measured Bovington's to check). Still, I haven't seen every KV photograph ever taken..... |
