I am putting together a dio. Did Das Reich field any Pz.Kpfw. IV's during Kursk? If so what would the turret No.s be? And would they be white outlines or Black w/ White outlines? I am assuming that they would have the two vertical bars on the back of the hull. Would they also be on the front of the hulls? And did they carry the Imp marking?
There will also be` two Tiger I's. I have markings (white outlines with the Imps) for S02 S11 S13 S24. Which Tigers would be best together? I am thinking S11 S13. While on the subject what does the "S" stand for?
I know it's a lot to ask but I want to be as accurate as possible. Can anyone recommend a book on the unit strengths of SS Divisions?
