In the thread about Polish M4(105)H tanks below, Roy Chow reminded me of a question I've been wondering about for some time. Do you guys believe that it would have been possible to upgrade M4 tanks from VVSS to HVSS in the field, or would the conversion be to extensive to be done short of a remanufacturing job?
