| The earliest medium tank track was a reversible rubber block design with a plain face. In theory, the track blocks could be removed and turned around when the outer face became too worn. These were seen on M3 and early M4 series tanks in North Africa. The practical value of the reversible track blocks was limited, so a revised, non-reversible design was introduced with a thicker outer face to increase the road life of the track. In 1/35th scale, the difference is virtually unnoticeable. So yes, you can interchange the tracks without any real problem. |
