There was an excellent article in Fine Scale Modeler, actually quite unusual in its depth, published in May 1997 regarding the late Brummbar. The tweaks and approach was thorough and may be useful in your effort. I built mine based on this article and it turned out well. I cross-referenced what I could from scattered photos in books dealing with a multitude of vehicles. The old Osprey-Vanguard 12 Sturmartillerie and Panzerjager had some profiles and photos. I believe a Concord publication dealing with the Italian front had some photos too.
