Yes absolutely. Reading about the various US armor drives across Europe, it's amazing that they were able to keep as many tanks in condition to go as far as they did (good ol Shermsn!). You see pictures of ETO US Shermans with VERY worn tracks sometimes.
I don't think a service unit would leave behind good tracks. HTH |
