| Subject: | Porsche King Tiger in Ardennes?! | |
| Date: | Jan 2, 2007 |
| From: | Philip Velmer | |
Hi
I was surfing around the net and came across this site ( http://www.worldwar2aces.com/photo.htm )
For me the first pic and the text next to it are interesting.
"Porsche King Tigers enroute to Normandy. Although only fifty were produced, it was the Porsche KingTigers that created a reputation when it wreaked the most havoc during the Ardennes offensive."
Were there really Porsches in the Ardennes? I thought mostly had been destroyed in Normandy. It would be great if you have any information.
Thank you!!! |
