Well guys there's a story that goes along with this track link. It was found by an American GI in Bosina (during one of our many peace missions) near a new crater. Being a armor modeler and a club member he knew what it was and he sent back to the states, and his club. At the Regionals held by that club the next year they gave it to the winner of the most outstanding German Armor of the meet. My best friend won it and held it in high reguards up till his death. He gave it to me two days before he died. That track link had been in the ground for 60 yrs.. The fact that it's in this good of condition after being burried for so long says alot about German armor. The club members saw the importance of keeping it in it's orginal condition and the memery of the club member that found it when they gave it. My friend saw fit to preserve that memery as will I. Yes it's rusty it's also history. Steve
