AFAIK; Some KTs during the BotB had zimm, some did not. Plenty of KT BotB pics here:

As for Panthers in Normandy, almost for sure the majority had zimm; they would have been Panther A's and the early Gs. I do not believe any Panther D's were still available for 6/6/44, and if so, the Early D's would have been zimm-less. The Ds - IMHO - would likely have already been consumed on the Eastern Front and in Italy. |
