After my previous note about this gun I thought maybe the museum owner would send me a picture and the information on the gun. He has and the not very detailed picture is attached along with the museum web link in the event anyone is in the area of Fort Sumter, New Mexico they could get some good detail photo’s As you can see for a Japanese weapon it is in remarkable condition.

Caliber- 149.1 mm
Barrel length- 3.523 meters
Weight- 4.14 tons
Elevation angle fire -5 to + 65 degrees (up and down)
Projectile type 92 HE- (High Explosive- 79.2 pounds)
Projectile type HE Pointed - (High Explosive - 68.2 pounds)
Maximum firing Range- 11,900 meters
Only known Type 96 150.cm howitzer trophy cannon in the United States
