Hadn't known it was a debate. Illustrations in older books always showed the vehicle as Flat Foot Floogie. Then again, I haven't heard "Flat Foot Floogie with a Floy Floy" on the radio in many moons, and a lot of once-common cultural reference points have disappeared from our cultural memory. How many people today even recall the origin of the word "Bazooka"?
Still, given our cultural amnesia, it's good that someone actually went to the source to preclude pointless debate in the future. |
