| Subject: | GMC CCKW-353 water tank truck | |
| Date: | Mar 20, 2007 |

I am working currently on a GMC CCKW-353 water tank truck, the old Italeri kit.
During my research on this vehicle I have found only one picture of the vehicle's right side, the picture of a French truck in Indochina with an additional stowage frame. Are there more pictures around, especially from WWII-period?
The exhaust-system of the water tank truck was different to the other CCKW-353. The piping was isolated and was divided by a valve ahead of the muffler. The redirected hot exhausts were used for warm up the water tank (?). There is a side view on this arrangement in the book "GMC CCKW-352/353" of Becker and Dentzer. Are there more pictures or diagramms of this arrangement, maybe in the TM?
Thanks for the help.
