Torben,
I still stand by my comment about the Panzer troops in the photo being from Regiment "General Goring", because that unit had an armoured car (reconnaisance) platoon as early as 1938, & it took part in the Polish campaign which is where I believe that photo was taken.
"General Goring" was expanded to a brigade in 1941 for the invasion of Russia & to divisional strength in 1942, when it was deployed in Tunisia & changed its title to "Hermann Goring". Any of the histories of the Goring units will reveal the existence of the armoured recce platoon in the 1930s. Hope this helps.
