Hi Paul,
Common towing vehicles that are available in styrene at the moment are: Steyr, RSO, Opel Blitz, Opel Maultier, Horch (Tamiya did a combi kit with the FlaK 38 of that one), SdKfz 10, SdKfz 250, SdKfz 251, and horse drawn was still used too. KettenKraftRad is OK, but a additional Krad (or other vehicle) would be needed to carry crew and ammo.
Captured vehicles in the same weight bracket would be used when available too, as German industry never made enough trucks to satisfy war demands. In styrene that would be CMP, universal carrier, etc..
Later in the war light FlaK was often mounted on the cargo bed of a light/medium truck to improve mobility and reduce the time in to action.
Of course any towing vehicle could be used, but a 2cm FlaK behind a SdKfz 7 or FAMO would be not that common for obvious reasons.
Cheers,
Alex |
