| Subject: | FuG 12 radio set | |
| Date: | May 19, 2007 |

Hi guys,
I'm looking for information on the German WW2 FuG 12 radio set, pics, drawings, links or as an after market item.
I want to make (or purchase) a set for my 234/1 Panzer Späh Wagen. As this radio will be mostly hidden when the vehicle is finished, it has not to be very detailed, but it has to have at least the right 'look' when seen from above through the open topped turret.
As far as I know there are no pics around of this radio set mounted in any of the 234 serie vehicles, but I guess that they comply to the 'standard' mounting in racks as seen in other German vehicles?
Is the FuG 12 included in other kits, (such as the Dragon Sd.Kfz. 251/6 for example), and if so, what's the quality of these?
Googling has not given any useful result 'till now. And please, do not recommend a (hard to find/expensive) book as I'm not willing to order a book that I will most probably use only once for one minor detail! (I too have, regretfully, a limited budget.)
Hope someone can help, thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Alex |
