I am going to built a Bergpanzer III using the Precision models conversion. They are indicating on the instruction that the donnor kit should be a P III M/N from Gunze/Dragon.

I would like to know if the Bergepanzer III was systematically built on the later P III hulls (ausf J to M) or if it was also built on the earlier P III hulls (ausf E to H), say with a K/O tank that was shipped back to a regionnal maintenance center.
