Eric, I don't recall ever seeing a Crusader Mk. III in North Africa without the full sand skirts. Nor the Crusader Mk. II for that matter. The Crusader Mk. I, yes.

If you want to show off the tracks then just convert the kit to an Mk. I. I'm sure someone will post a recipe for this.
