Bob,
That "emplacement" wouldn't even stop kids throwing stones! They obviously weren't paying attention during the lesson on " field works & defences" - slapped wrists all round.
Seriously, in your previous image post, is that an ammo box open in front of the gun?
If I recall, I think the IWM has one of these in the Land Warfare Hall at Duxford.
