Paul,

As Chris mentioned you don't have to have the CDP tracks but very few of the standard Sherman track Grizzlys were made. The biggest problem is locating a set of the CDP tracks and the proper sprocket wheel to go with the tracks.

How did you try fitting the Formations mantlet? The M34A1 mantlet was different cover and mantlet itself. The M34A1 mantlet incorporated the gunner's telescopic site that the early M34 did not have.

Other modifications you will need are cases of Labatts(is that spelled correctly?), hockey sticks strapped to the hull and a crew that says 'Eh' a lot. Oh, a destain for
for those 'smart alecs' across the southern boarder won't hurt either.
