Subject:  Re: Canadian Grizzly conversion from M4A1List thread.

In the 1990s Commander Series Models did a resin conversion set for the old Italeri M4A1 76W to turn it into a Grizzly, which featured a new upper hull & turret (no new sprockets or CDP tracks though). They also did a conversion for a Skink which featured in a 1996 issue of FSM. I don't think either conversion is currently in production, but anyone interested may be able to source one from some of the second-hand dealers or eBay.
As the early Dragon Sherman kits were based on Italeri's, I've always thought it might be possible to use either one of these conversions with either their M4A1 or M4A1 76W. I do plan one day to test this theory by converting the 76W into a Skink, but need to work up the courage first!

Cheers,
Chris
