I expected someone would come up with that,thank you.
I was talking to the RSM,about the vehicle today.
I will wait till after x-mas and He will let me in the Armoury to get some photo's for you all.[then have a pint in the Sgnt's Mess!]
It has its limber and 25 pounder,so will be of great help.
They also have a small WW1 German field gun they brought home,will take a few pictures of that as well .
The Armoury is a lovely old building[early Victorian]Col John McCrae served there,then seeing action in Sth Africa with the '11Th 'in the Boar war.[before becoming a doctor in WW1] |
