Hi,
Thank you for additional information. As far as I know, the only walkaround pictures are of the specimen in the Moscow Museum of Armed Forces. I reviewed all these pictures and there is none of the roof. The pictures in the Arsenal book are indeed of a very poor quality and do not show the star even if it is there.
It is interesting what you are writing about the surviving specimens. I read somewhere on the Net that only three T-28 survived the war and out of these only one was restored and placed in the museum.
Meanwhile, I am shaving off the rivets and the little dots pretending to be rivets and adding the bolts and larger rivets using the pictures of the Moscow museum specimen. It is pretty cruel on the already finished model (it is back in pieces). The star will be added last. Cheers, bob |
