The Pz.III Ausf.N was built from the Ausf.J, Ausf.L and Ausf.M chassis, and would have features corresponding to the chassis it was built on. Some later Ausf.N had the deep wading exhaust from the Ausf.M while ealier Ausf.N would have the lower hull side hatches as per the Ausf.J and L chassis.

They all had the 40cm tracks.

Very late Ausf.N had spaced armour and zimmerit, which makes for a very interesting vehicle.
