hi mate, just took a look through my panzer iv books, i have around 20 of them, there are very few cases where you can even see a rear tail light, there seems to be a lot of models without it, but on the ones that do have, it is very hard to see any kind of wiring at all, there is none on the top of the track guards and i can not see any wiring on the rear of the lamp on any pictures that i see, so taking a guess i would say that it enters from the bottom through the light itself, sorry i could not be of anymore help
