| Subject: | M32 series ARV tarpaulin ??? | |
| Date: | May 14, 2001 |
| From: | Christophe Jacquemont | |
I wonder if there is any evidence of the use of a tarpaulin to cover the
large round opening on front of the turrret roof (where the MG is
fitted) this would seem to make sense to protect the interior against
the elements...
Any photos or even written evidence of this on WWII and/or postwar
vehicles?
Also in the MMiR special on tank transporters (allied/axis) there is a
photo of an M32 in Japan with what looks like a hatch over the
aforementionned opening. Any info on this?
Cheers,
Christophe |
