Hi guys,

Surfing the net I found these pics on a Russian site.

They depict the British Covenanter tank, which was, as far as I know, never deployed outside the British Isles, bar a small number that were delivered to the middle east for training.

The covenanters shown here are marked as 'beute panzer'. One is also shown pulling a french tracked UE trailer.

One of the pics show baracs in the background in which a SdKfz 7 is parked, making a UK training scheme with opposing forces rather unlikely.

I guess these are pics from France 1940.

Does anybody know if there were (some) Covenanters 'trialled' and lost in France 1940?

Or is there another explanation for this pics?
