| I just looked up M34 and M34A1 mantlets and I am adding my 3d and last photo of this beast. I am now thinking this is neither M34 nor M34A1. On the left front of the turret, this thing looks like the M34, but on the right front of the turret the mantlet extands all the way across the gun mount and turret face like the M34A1 mantlet. Maybe it was an M34A1, took a hit on the left front and that half may have been cut off and then professionally ground down and repainted? Not likely, but imaginative. |
