"Chaser" was from the Sherbrooke Fusilier Regiment and was destroyed on 7 June 1944 on the east side of Franqueville. It was probably the mount of Lieutenant Ian A. MacLean (Troop leader of C Sqn 2 Troop).
Although the circle squadron marking appears light, it is in fact blue (27 CAR was the junior regiment in the 2 Cdn Armd Bde). It also appears on the right front quarter of the turret. And if it follows other 27 CAR markings, should also be on the left side of the rear turret box with a white "21" beside it.
It definitely is without a pistol port but the only picture i've seen of the right side of the turret is from an extreme distance, but I would assume it also has the thickened cheek armor.
My best guess, and it is only a guess, of the WD number is T-212203.
