Paul and David are correct about late Tiger Is all having zimmerit. There is one exception however, and that is the so called "hybrid Tiger." If you have a copy of Jean Restayn's book, "Tiger I on the Western Front", you will see a couple of shots and color plates of Late Tiger I hulls (with steel wheels) with original Tiger I turrets (drum style cupolas) and no zimmerit assigned to a unit called Kompanie Fehrmann, which was established towards the very end of the war. I just ran a Google search and found a good web page (http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?t=69001) about these "hybrid Tigers."

Cheers!
